If I ever knew that Matt tiles were this hard to clean I would of never got them!!! Especially these cream colour ones!!! I'm contemplating in removing them completely all 45m2 of them In The grannyflat!!! Hubby and I have spent the last 2 days trying to get stains off these horrid tiles! I have sprayed sealed them x2 but they're not looking promising, when your shoes have a spec of dust it stains them!!! I love all your lights, cupboards, stonework, absolutely fabulous. Your tiles look beautiful too. Sorry you're not impressed. I love the look of matt tiles but I guess they are hard to clean as stuff sticks to them being more porous. Travertine is very porous, good thing you have on wall so shouldnt be a problem. That wall is Are you going to get another light for the void? I think it looks great (lovely lights) but I'd probably want another. But not important, still looks great! The novice me, didn't know that Matt tiles are more porous! If I knew u wouldn't of got it! It's hell cleaning. Yes already got the 3rd light for the void, electrician coming this Friday to install. It would represent my 3 daughters! Lol! We have travertine to the alfresco as well, going to stain it once we're all moved in. After seeing the issues you have with the matte tiles, I may have to reconsider getting them. Anyway, looks like you guys are almost finished with the build and can start enjoying living in it.
