I haven't will check with the construction manager when we see him for the pre-lining inspection. Seems Rose and Glendale38 have both done two quotes - and they reckon its fine. I am sure it will be way beyond 3-4k to paint a house this size :O. My sister got one of her villas painted a few years ago for like $3-4k - 3 bedder! So I am sure this house will be 10k+ How come such a discrepancy in quotes? We had included 3 quotes of paint in our build as standard, so can't give you any advice on that. But if I was concerned I will get M to do it, as doing it post handover will cost a lot more than $1,500! Painting is also a really messy job you don't want to be doing with our new carpets and cabinetry around. viewtopic.php?t=78985 Re: KDRB Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney) - Roof 632Sep 09, 2015 10:51 pm Franky40 Great news Mona - it will be great to see pics without the scaffolds. Will check with the CM on the painting I don't want the hassle post handover. Variation fee is a good way of throwing money away I wish I had thought about this before...but then there are a million things I can think of that we could have done. Curious to know how long rendering takes. ... this may be a how long is a piece of string question. We only have the front portico to be rendered. Thanks Tribe I think you Queenslanders are too quick so if yours took a morning - surely ours should be done over two days Metricon Glendale 38 - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75696&p=1298363#p1298363 Selections: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75696&start=60 Tiles - p25 Re: KDRB Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney) - Roof 636Sep 10, 2015 9:19 pm Hahaha @ Mona's comment. Also getting a quote for the security doors to go with the stacker doors. We have the option to go with Crimsafe Invisguard, Aluminum, steel or fiberglass. Invisguard is going to cost twice as much - each panel is $1,000 - so all up $4,000 for our family and dinning area doors. I am not sure - I am inclined toward the invisguard - just provides security, where as my family think it is an overkill Which one would you go with?
