Over all the house is beautiful, but the finishing is lacking. We've got mud stains on the grout throughout the house where people have walked through with their muddy boots. And I'm noticing a lot of paint finishing that could have been done better. Hoping that this can all be fixed up with the 13 week maintenance list.

Lendlease should send you monthly updates on how your land is travelling. I think they emailed or called me a couple weeks before we were due to register just to give me a heads up.
They will only give you access to the land once it's been registered, but you might find that the bank doesn't actually need to step onto the land to value it. They just need to look at it from a distance. Although my bank didn't send out a valuer until the land had registered and we had been given a settlement date. Then they started moving ahead with the loan.
Just make sure you're always available on your phone in case the bank needs to call you. Try and get them everything they need as quick as possible, and stay on top of them. Don't let them forget about you.

We had a fixed price with Kurrajong, site costs were included. But our land was pretty much flat. The main reason we picked Kurrajong was that they built to our budget. We told them what we wanted to spend and they came up with a floor plan to suit. And if there are things you don't like, you can take it out and they will lower the price. Like ducted AC is one of their inclusions, but we had it taken out as we couldn't afford it. That took about $8000 off our tender price.

Ok we finally moved in on the weekend Greg was here himself to do the handover
The finishing was ok although I have noticed the seals around the bath and the kitchen sink are not good and there is water coming out of them
They even missed a robe hook I had paid for to go in the ensuite
Rest everything is ok at the moment (fingers crossed)

Wow that red splash back is something else!!

I had the same issue, the seals around my bath and sink aren't very good. Will be bringing it up on our 13 week maintenance list.

I went with Activ8 Me. No complaints so far, they were the cheapest. I paid a bit extra to get the faster speeds and so far the speeds have been pretty consistent. I think it's like $89 a month unlimited.

We are building with Kurrajong / Resmark homes in Jordan Springs. The experience so far has not been great and we are waiting for our build to complete still which was due in March. The new plan shows it will take another 3 months to complete which is really disappointing.
Please share your experiences in terms of their workmanship.

Guys I need some help
As mine is a cornor lot I need the brick pier fencing with aluminium slats in them and also I need a retaining wall on the side of the house
Can someone help me with this as I am having trouble finding the right guy to do this job
Plz any kind of help will be appreciated

Memorable building experience

I have recently built my family home with Resmark (Kurrajong). We are glad we went with them. From the sales rep to the customer service representative and our site manager, we had an excellent experience.
The sales person was very thorough and he ensured that what exactly we are looking. Being a custom home builder Resmark has accommodated our all requirement start from building plan to throughout the construction phase. Their team took time to understand our requirement and came up with great design. They allow us to go through their selection range and guided very well for what could go better with our requirement.
As soon as construction starts they have great method of tracking progress and communicate with the open platform of co-construct where everything is documented for each item in your tender. Admin team was responsive to our queries and we were kept well informed.
During the construction phase attention to detail is reflective in the good workmanship throughout our house. We all do have small ups and down in this building journey and I did have but what makes Resmark different here is they listen their customer and identify any issue & solve it in permissible manner. My site supervisor is very fantastic and he was very patient and took the time to explain things to us. we are very satisfied with the great supervision he undertook for our house. The handover was excellent and he patiently went through all the relevant details with us.
I was holding to post my feedback since last 10 months as I want to see how’s their post handover support as well. And believe me it’s really a great for me. Not even the attend the request but they make sure all is well for us. For each and every single item we requested, site supervisor visited site and explain us and engage trade-person on our requested time. I am big thankful for whole team for that.
I would highly recommend using Resmark and would like to take this opportunity to thank the relevant Resmark staff for making our building experience memorable.
