Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 28, 2015 6:47 pm Hi All, We're building in Willagee (working with a building broker) and currently close to finalising the basic house plans (hi Steve!). I'd like to know what you people out there think we should do for a few things, but I'll start with just one item - lighting. We know we want downlights through-out the house (dimmable in a lot of rooms) and ceiling fans as well. We don't know how many lights we need in each location, but I could guess reasonably well. We would also like to avoid having standard fittings installed prior to the downlights. I'm also thinking of lots of outdoor lights and a few cameras for security. Would we be better off speccing out roughly what we want now and having the builder incorporate it into their plan/quote, or should we be engaging an electrical company to advise and spec? If the latter, who would do the install? Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 8 17173 of course there are legal avenues. You've already mentioned it. Sue them. I find it odd that lawyers wouldnt be willing to take on the case, given CCT evidence and… 1 23616 "Losers" "humanity" "off time" "your" "top notch" "love symbol" Sounds like ponzo is done using other people's toilets 37 23734 |
