Looks great Josh. The plaster will come up a treat. It's amazing how bad it can look at that stage. But before you know it, it's mint.
Moving along at a good rate now.

Plasterers were still there at 7pm... well... plasterers is a strong word! Plaster has all been hung and looks like the first coat has been done for the whole house. Looking better than yesterday but its mighty rough in some places. The ceiling in the alfresco is so bad! Check out the first photo below. The kitchen bulkhead and doorway dont match up either.. prolly 10mm out.. no photo though. Also smeared plaster all over most of the wooden door frames. The bricks have been placed around most windows too and behind the garage is complete. Ive also noticed we were meant to get insulation in the small external garage walls.. it never went in. Ive tried calling our SS twice this week and no answer or call back. Frustrating signs. Their attention to detail is generally not all there. I do recall that we felt our plaster was quite rough in a lot of areas around the house when we were at your stage. Rest assured, they do make it all line up the way you expect it should. Bit concerning that you can't get hold of your SS. Have you tried emailing your admin assistant to raise this concern? I think its lock up. Just approved the frame invoice but pretty sure everything is done for lockup Our build - MainVue Amalfi 428 - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75482 Re: Our MainVue Amalfi 428 230Oct 08, 2015 9:32 pm Gee our builds are neck and neck Josh. We are 9 weeks tomorrow too. Our plaster is finished and our kitchen is supposed to go in on Monday but our bricks are not finished yet? And we are not at lock up. All the doors were wide open today but I think that was because of the dust from the plaster being sanded. I'm watching your build closely as what ever happens for you we should have happen a few days later. Re: Our MainVue Amalfi 428 231Oct 08, 2015 9:36 pm Oh cool. Its strange how it happens like that. Some of the places in our street have had bricks finished and no plaster at all, some have a full kitchen and bricks not finished. Hopefully we stay that way and get finished before the year is out. I'm anticipating seeing a nearly finished house just sitting there for 4 weeks over the break. I'm wishing it would be finished but not counting on it Re: Our MainVue Amalfi 428 233Oct 08, 2015 9:42 pm We are much the same.. just hoping its no later than feb because we are getting married. Would love to be in before then. Going to do a fixings inspection and completion for a bit of piece of mind. Spoke with SS today.. plaster to be finished early next week and cabinetry to be finished by the end of the week. Getting refunded for the bit of insulation that didnt go in the garage. SS thinks the data went in before plaster so that will be interesting if it didnt since theres internal insulation in all walls. Bricks have been cleaned today and plasterers were still there so didnt go in. Bricks look awesome. There are 2 or 3 im not happy with but good result!!
