They laid more rocks on the driveway today and flattened it back out after the crane with the trusses dug it up badly. I'm a bit nervous about it. It's not my first choice but at the end of the day it came down to cost. Re: Henley - Monterey Belle Q2 - KDR 158Sep 28, 2015 6:41 pm So the Brickies were on site at 8am, the only problem was there was no bricks. They waited until about 10am then went home. The bricks then arrived about 12:30 and sat un touched for the rest of the day. Two guys worked inside On the studs, prepping them for plaster I think (shaving them down and packing them out) and built the two bath hobs. Hopefully the bricks start going up tomorrow. I was worried as our sand that was delivered looks very yellow/orange and we paid for off white mortar.
