We are locked out again now Re: H3nl3y KDR Mont3r3y belle q2 week 24 403Jan 11, 2016 2:57 pm Hmmm he must be paid by the hour haha Re: H3nl3y KDR Mont3r3y belle q2 week 24 404Jan 12, 2016 4:29 pm So I was really happy with our kitchen and how it was coming along until I saw our splash back very bad choice by us. Don't know what we were thinking. Oh well I'm so over it all now I don't even really care. I hope they don't just fill these big gaps with silicon though. Our bench tops must be way out as toward the middle there is no real gap. I think with a couple of things on the bench, even some small potted plants it'll break the colour up a little bit. It'll all come together once you move in Follow my build: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.p ... 1#p1481141 Re: H3nl3y KDR Mont3r3y belle q2 week 24 406Jan 12, 2016 6:00 pm Lish just took the words out of my mouth. Once you have your oven and rangehood in, plus a few bits and pieces it will be fine. They would have said something at your colour appointment if wasn't going to work. Re: H3nl3y KDR Mont3r3y belle q2 week 24 407Jan 12, 2016 6:02 pm Weird, don't know why you got that twice- sorry Re: H3nl3y KDR Mont3r3y belle q2 week 24 408Jan 12, 2016 8:55 pm Yeah I'm getting used to the idea now, I think I was shocked as I had a different picture in my head as we picked colours in sept 2014 - so long ago now. I thought it was much lighter like the wall colour. I'm sure it will be fine. The colour lady did put it together for us, I think it was in a display home and we just copied it. I just want to get in the house now - I don't care if the splash back is purple Re: H3nl3y KDR Mont3r3y belle q2 week 24 409Jan 12, 2016 8:57 pm You sound so over it...remember this is meant to be exciting Have they told you when they think you will be in? Re: H3nl3y KDR Mont3r3y belle q2 week 24 410Jan 12, 2016 9:36 pm PCI is supposed to be Jan 27 and they said possible settlement two weeks after that which is feb 10 so I have booked our flooring for feb 11 and 12 Re: H3nl3y KDR Mont3r3y belle q2 week 24 411Jan 12, 2016 9:42 pm I like your splashback as well! What flooring are you having installed after handover? Re: H3nl3y KDR Mont3r3y belle q2 week 24 412Jan 12, 2016 9:45 pm Well they better be ready for you then!!!! Re: H3nl3y KDR Mont3r3y belle q2 week 24 413Jan 12, 2016 10:03 pm We are doing it through f@wels and getting quick step largo in Cambridge oak and a a dark grey/brown carpet by metropol in a colour called earth. The laminate was not my first choice, more like my 3rd. But nervous about how it will look to be honest. Re: H3nl3y KDR Mont3r3y belle q2 week 24 415Jan 12, 2016 10:13 pm I know - too late now. Anyway I can blame hubby. It was his choice that we went with in the end. Unless it looks awesome then it was my choice Re: H3nl3y KDR Mont3r3y belle q2 week 24 417Jan 13, 2016 5:53 am So exciting! Will they leave the skirts off for you or will you need to use quad? Re: H3nl3y KDR Mont3r3y belle q2 week 24 418Jan 13, 2016 7:05 am No we are just using the quad, it doesn't bother me, I don't mind the way it looks. Re: H3nl3y KDR Mont3r3y belle q2 week 24 419Jan 15, 2016 6:57 pm House still sitting there, no one working on it. Just waiting - waiting and more waiting Re: H3nl3y KDR Mont3r3y belle q2 week 24 420Jan 15, 2016 7:14 pm Oh no, how incredibly frustrating for you. What's their excuse? We were lucky in that our old house was so small (86 square metres) compared to the new house, they were able to take enough readings around the old backyard house before… 8 37625 The biggest challenge will be if you take out a loan and then run out of money - you'll have an incomplete security and lenders do not like this so you can get stuck.… 2 19413 Hi, I am looking into doing a KDR in Melbourne and am contemplating using Kialla Homes. I am looking for feedback on them from others who have built with them. 0 13738 |
