If they don't, just keep taking it further and speak to people higher up until it's done. You'll be happy once it's all finished I'm sure it'll end up all sorted properly. Re: H3nl3y KDR Monterey belle q2 week 17 362Dec 12, 2015 7:07 pm That is terrible tiling. I'd be wanted that ripped out and started from scratch with a better tiler. It's all pretty bad. Especially our niches which are too small but that's a huge fix. I'll just be happy to have nice tiles and grout in our 'soap holder' as hubby calls it Re: H3nl3y KDR Monterey belle q2 week 17 365Dec 13, 2015 9:16 am Here's some of my ensuite for comparison.... I though it could be done better and clearly it can. Next year we are going to ask for a full re tiling job by a different tilers. Not the floor tiles just the shower bases and walls. We even had to pay extra to have the rectangle tiles cut for the shower base so I expect that to be a lot better than it is. I'm sure Henley will sort these issues out. They seem to rave on about their 12 month maintenance period. We're going to build a Monterey Belle Q2 too. I must say your house looks lovely. What facade did you go with? Peter Re: H3nl3y KDR Monterey belle q2 week 17 371Dec 16, 2015 8:16 am This is the Milton facade, we just changed the front windows to the vertical option. Re: H3nl3y KDR Monterey belle q2 week 17 372Dec 16, 2015 8:58 am Hi Jessica looks great i have checked the henley booklet yesterday, almost all of the pillars in the facade pictures have flashing. So i guess either they adding it later or maybe better to remind them that too. Its hard when you have to do the SS work but its our house so i think we have to be in the top of the game. by the front looks nice and also the colour combo with roofing i likey regards Re: H3nl3y KDR Monterey belle q2 week 17 373Dec 16, 2015 9:18 am Yeah we have the same facade and have flashing. He said he would just get the guys to render the top and slope it down but this was before we said we were getting an independent inspection. I think now he might just be putting th flashing on to please the inspector. Wish he would just call us so we could talk. It's been over 4 weeks now since we have spoken. So don't want to upset him even more. I've emailed admin too and got no reply there either. Hubby said if we don't hear from SS by the end of this week he will call him Re: H3nl3y KDR Monterey belle q2 week 17 379Dec 16, 2015 1:41 pm Omg that is massive driveway! although it will look amazing that's going to cost you an absolute bomb! Have you got a building inspector lined up for PCI? I am dreading my PCI but have an inspector ready to go. I've been picking up things along the way and telling the SS but nothing gets fixed. Also, the display homes are beyond perfect. They need to be to suck us in. But your house does look lovely and you made great choices at colour selection. We were lucky in that our old house was so small (86 square metres) compared to the new house, they were able to take enough readings around the old backyard house before… 8 37142 The biggest challenge will be if you take out a loan and then run out of money - you'll have an incomplete security and lenders do not like this so you can get stuck.… 2 19096 Hi, I am looking into doing a KDR in Melbourne and am contemplating using Kialla Homes. I am looking for feedback on them from others who have built with them. 0 13443 |
