Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 14, 2015 11:58 am Apologies if this question had been already asked before. I am just hoping to get some thoughts from other members in this forum. I am building a house and we have been experiencing some delays on getting the things done from our builder but that is another issue. Recently they told us that they will need to work on stage 4 first before doing stage 3. That is roof first before bricks whereas in the contract that we signed bricks should come first before the roof. Isn't that a breach of contract? Would really like to hear some opinion from other members in this group. That way you take weather out of the equation to a certain extent, meaning you shouldnt have many rain delays as the tradies can work under the roof. Cant see any disadvantage to that...
