Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 14, 2015 8:57 am Hi I have an urgent decision to make about the height of the dropper head shower i am having in my main shower, my ceilings are 2.6m Here is the shower head. http://novelli.net.au/product.asp?brand ... uctID=1520 However, the shower screens from the floor are 2m Plan - https://www.dropbox.com/s/1efcv8cqy18ex ... d.JPG?dl=0 Should i have this lowered? as i know a rainfall head works a bit different. Re: Dropper shower head height from roof to shower? 2Jan 14, 2015 9:57 am For rainfall you want the shower head higher. I have got a gap of about 400mm between the shower head and the screen. The manufacturer should be able to tell you how far the water fans out beyond which it falls down. I was worried about overspray and aesthetics. Our shower is not installed yet so I can't comment on the end result unfortunately, but this is what it is to look like: I guess it also depends on the height of the people showering. My partner is six foot so there should be about a 30cm gap between his head and the rainhead. I am shorter. This website: http://annieocarroll.com/how-to/what-is ... ower-head/ recommends a 1 foot gap, so 30cm) between the rainhead and the top of the tallest person's head. Don't know if this helps at all!
