A little update from me. They have replaced our windows, but a lot of them have gone in crooked, an awning in the wrong place, etc. Nothing has been picked up by our supervisor, so we are now trying to sort it out with RedInk. To top it all off, cabinets have gone in and are wrong measurements. Some are sticking out, some are recessed, etc. Basically nothing is in line, the wall they are to join is crooked (which RedInk have been advised of weeks ago). To cut the long story of mistakes short, this whole build has been a nightmare. Every step has had mistakes left, right and centre. It has been us all along who have been going out to site everyday, to be greeted by more mistakes, and more emails to our CLO. We are so behind, and it is not looking like it will get any better. I am seriously not sure what to do, as hubby and are, have just had it with RedInk.

All I can advise is to stay factual and try not to get too emotional (says she who can't help crying when it feels like I don't have any control!). I hope you'll get some answers and some help, I'm sure you will. Good luck and *hugs* and please keep us updated. x Re: Building with Redink Homes 244Dec 13, 2015 3:32 am Hi MIMN - I'm a bit worried that you've not been here after this - I hope you've not been banned or something for some strange reason Re: Building with Redink Homes 245Dec 16, 2015 11:29 am MalSannie Hi MIMN I'm so sorry to hear you're facing these issues I've sent you a DM. I hope you'll get some answers and some help, I'm sure you will. Good luck and *hugs* and please keep us updated. x Hi Mal I have been super busy, as I am sure everyone else has been this festive time of the year. I am trying really hard to stay factual, but like you say, it is hard not to cry when I have no control We have met with the Area Manager who is professional and he has looked over the house with us. He has assured us it will all be corrected from uneven cabinets in the kitchen to bowing windows, etc. I am hoping this will happen soon and to a good standard, as we really do not want any more delays, etc. We are mainly annoyed that none of these issues are getting picked up by our supervisor though, as that is diminishing our confidence in the quality of our build. If he cannot see the things that are easily visable and I have picked up with my untrained eye, what else has he missed that requires building knowledge. Hope that makes sense Re: Building with Redink Homes 246Dec 16, 2015 11:30 am MalSannie Hi MIMN - I'm a bit worried that you've not been here after this - I hope you've not been banned or something for some strange reason Hahahaha, you got me worried with this. Can I get banned for putting the builder down too much?? Even if it all fact?? Re: Building with Redink Homes 247Dec 22, 2015 7:37 am Sorry didn't mean to worry you I think if you name people you're more likely to get in 'trouble' lol you'll be fine though. How're things going? Did they fix things for you? I really hope so! x Re: Building with Redink Homes 248Jan 01, 2016 1:02 pm Hi MIMN.
