We have 2 tenders out there to think about. One of them being the Mojo Enigma, other one with Wisdom Homes. We made quite a few floor plan changes with Mojo and almost ready to sign. Waiting for SC to get back to use. Re: Mojo Homes 288Jul 31, 2016 11:55 am purpleal I am note sure about the other houses, but the Enigma 41 is going up by 5k. Purp Great to see some action on this topic. What is the base price of Enigma 41 at the moment? Re: Mojo Homes 290Jul 31, 2016 12:05 pm tuckems I have the July 2016 price list. The Enigma 41 base price is $347,900 Wow that is a 19k increase since Jan 2016. Re: Mojo Homes 292Jul 31, 2016 12:55 pm mys013 w1ck3d homes Oooh awesome! How far along are you in the process? I'm still trying to comprehend why they couldn't fit the 41 with my gables lot when I have a 15 m frontage. Is your lot in the bigger size? We have been granted an extension till next weekend so give us some thinking time. It most likely would be 5k across the board I think for the Enigma anyway. We have an 18m x 30m lot, we originally tendered for the 46 but way too expensive. Re: Mojo Homes 297Aug 01, 2016 7:44 am Hello. Wow 511 jobs on the go, no wonder ours is taking so long. Our plans are finally being submitted to council this week. We are building the Muse 29 however with all the changes we have made it is more like a 31 now. [/quote] Honestly 8 months in and you don't have a construction contract? I don't know any background.. Is your block registered? are you ready to build? We accepted tender on enigma 41 (to 44 with some changes), our block is registered.. paying mortgage on the land as it seemed the "cheaper" option instead of a construction loan. So if we aren't in by around this time next year id be at a loss for words. I did bring up these comments with my sales consultant prior forking out the 3K. He explained the lead times when making changes, which I understand as I'm in the building game. Obviously they don't have people waiting around for jobs to start scheduling/building so you/we go in the queue. Re: Mojo Homes 299Aug 01, 2016 3:58 pm nkelly15 VithalMaddala01 Hi guys, Has anyone been offered to get insulation between Hebel panel and gyprock for an extra charge? Apparently it's an industry best practice and they 'recommend' us to get it and if any condensation issues arise and we don't get this upgrade then it will be on us and most likely will void the warranty. Anyone had this experience at colours appointment? Cheers, Vithal Hi I asked for R2.5 in walls but they wouldn't do it. But they already have R2 in the walls. So I ended up being happy with that. They don't incl wall wrapping, but from memory they wanted to charge a crazy price for it so we didn't do it. When I spoke to Hebel they said about half their builders use wall wrap and half didn't. So I didn't get the feeling it was essential. (But I'm sure preferred from an insulation point of view). I havent heard any issue of condensation before ?? We had tender meeting on Saturday, wall wrapping was 100% included in our tender. unsure if they have changed practices, but I can assure you its in black and white.
