Our neighbor a few lots down has been broken into several times now, and we have been broken into once a few weeks ago. Even though there is nothing to take from our site, we still don't want unwanted intruders busting our doors down! We aren't installing our appliances until after handover which is a relief. So really, even if they did get in theres nothing for the silly buggers to take! Makes me mad!!!!! Re: First Home Build - QLD - Dixon Homes (Brumby House) 551Sep 22, 2015 9:37 pm Hope the cameras catch the buggers although I hope they don't come by at all. Lighting looks fabulous, especially the strip lighting under the vanities, very swish. Lighting looks fabulous, especially the strip lighting under the vanities, very swish. I am hoping they see the cameras and steer clear! And if they do lurk around, at least we will have evidence! Thanks, we are also doing this strip lighting in the kitchen Re: First Home Build - QLD - Dixon Homes (Brumby House) 555Sep 23, 2015 11:24 pm Kitchen lights look great and loving that strip lighting in the bathroom! Hope the camera's do the trick. We will be installing them at our place once the shed etc is up as we won't be living there full time we want to make sure we can keep an eye on the place. Make me angry that some people have no consideration for the hard work of others! Re: First Home Build - QLD - Dixon Homes (Brumby House) 556Oct 09, 2015 1:34 pm Update: My OH had our PCI yesterday! If all goes according to plan, we will have keys next Friday! If not, then Monday. SO excited! No major issues, few paint scratches that's about it. I will update with more photos later. We are so happy and overall pleased with our choice of builder! We wont be moving in straight away as we have flooring that needs to be installed, so we will be having that done first.
