How disappointing about the bi-folds being taken.. Some people have no conscience! Re: Stoneleigh Dale Alcock Baldivis: PCI Friday 16th 482Oct 12, 2015 11:16 am Thanks guys, I am very excited to see the last bits and pieces come together this week before Friday. Koll & Cara, I am hearing you both about the never ending saving that goes with building... winning the lotto would come in handy for us all wouldn't it?! Cara we are just doing honed aggregate under the alfresco (this part will be raised) and where we have a step down to the pool area it will be standard aggregate. We have decided not to go with headers now. I went to a pool display centre yesterday and they had honed aggregate around one of their pools and it looked really good... looking at getting the same done now- it finishes it off very nicely. I was surprised that the edge wasn't sharp either (they had rounded it slightly). Our alfresco will be raised aswell then it will step down into the pool. I have a picture that I'm going off aswell. I'll be interested to know who you will be going through. So far we have two quotes, both $130 per Sqm. We really want to have a pool cover box in the ground aswell but quotes are around $2500-5000. The more expensive ones being the nicer looking ones. My Home Group build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77067 Re: Stoneleigh Dale Alcock Baldivis: PCI Friday 16th 500Oct 18, 2015 12:58 am That's who we are purchasing our pool from. Did you see they have a prefabbed drop edge paver too? Achieves a very close to waterline finished edge. We will be using these pavers to form the edge and then liquid limestone behind them back to alfresco decking. |
