Love your huge alfresco Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 Re: Stoneleigh Dale Alcock Baldivis: PCI Friday 16th 464Oct 06, 2015 9:42 pm Excellent! Looking great! Hoping PCI goes smoothly for you Re: Stoneleigh Dale Alcock Baldivis: PCI Friday 16th 465Oct 06, 2015 10:08 pm Oh I love the double French/glass doors!! Re: Stoneleigh Dale Alcock Baldivis: PCI Friday 16th 466Oct 06, 2015 10:17 pm Great news about PCI, so close now, that's exciting. You will be in before you know it Our building journey viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77582 Re: Stoneleigh Dale Alcock Baldivis: PCI Friday 16th 467Oct 06, 2015 10:28 pm Oh my goodness that's gone so quick for you! I am in love with that massive alfresco and can't wait to see the splashy! What a silly error putting the aircon over the light, are you going to ask for it to be moved? First Build, Commodore Homes, Honeywood, Wandi. viewtopic.php?t=77170 Re: Stoneleigh Dale Alcock Baldivis: PCI Friday 16th 468Oct 06, 2015 10:31 pm our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=73578 Re: Stoneleigh Dale Alcock Baldivis: PCI Friday 16th 469Oct 07, 2015 2:18 am Oh how wonderful to have a PCI date congratulations I love your huge alfresco and the ceiling fans, we're going to install one too after handover. How odd that they didn't question the aircon being in front of the light? We had something almost similar - a small wall on the boundary where we had both a light and a downpipe. Once the downpipe was installed I noticed there was no way that there'd be space for a light with the fence going up against it so thankfully could change it last minute! I'm sure they'd change it for you easily - being an external wall should mean they could easily run the wires? (Oh and I really love those glazed doors too it looks so beautiful!) Re: Stoneleigh Dale Alcock Baldivis: PCI Friday 16th 470Oct 07, 2015 10:46 am Everything looks amazing. How exciting that you have a PCI date! Not too much longer and you'll be in there enjoying your beautiful new home. Can't wait to see more photos! Re: Stoneleigh Dale Alcock Baldivis: PCI Friday 16th 472Oct 08, 2015 12:19 pm Thanks everyone! Yes our honeywood, we will need that light sorted. I was thinking the same thing as you Malsannie- it would be easy to get the external light moved to a different spot. We will ask our SS at PCI what the plan is. Well even though PCI is creeping up we probably won't be looking at actually picking up our keys until late November as that is when my partner is back on his next R&R. We have needed to do a bit of shuffling with tradies post handover but everyone has been very understanding which has been great. Once we have our keys everything will be a bit slow with the xmas break but we plan to be in hopefully not too long after the new year. We won't be moving until everything is done so I am sure we will be feeling a bit impatient by the end of it! Our Painter is booked in for end of Nov Pool installation will most likely happen end of November Timber floors being installed 2nd week December Soakwells- need to organise a date for these to be put in (hopefully before pool goes in) Carpets- Booked in mid dec Window coverings- most likely new year Wall to front of home, Planter boxes, base for pizza oven: will try and get this done before xmas. Battening and fence: most likely new year Aggregate, artificial lawn, landscaping, reticulation, pool finals such as glass fencing, water feature headers equipment etc, most likely Jan and Feb Re: Stoneleigh Dale Alcock Baldivis: PCI Friday 16th 473Oct 08, 2015 12:56 pm Lots to do but very exciting Blog: https://houseamour.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/houseamour/ Our build thread with Ben Trager Homes: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77796 Re: Stoneleigh Dale Alcock Baldivis: PCI Friday 16th 474Oct 08, 2015 2:23 pm How nice it will be to move into a home that nothing needs doing though! I'm pretty sure that isn't going to happen to me!! Did the bi-fold doors get stolen, or just haven't been delivered? Re: Stoneleigh Dale Alcock Baldivis: PCI Friday 16th 475Oct 08, 2015 4:47 pm You are quick on your list of things! Wish we were getting our pool next month but lots of saving to do and ours is booked in for January 29th. We are also in Baldivis. We got artificial lawn aswell, I love it! Our back yard is still a sand pit though. Building our first home - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75306 Re: Stoneleigh Dale Alcock Baldivis: PCI Friday 16th 476Oct 08, 2015 10:51 pm It will be so nice to move in after everything is completed. We are also having artificial loan, low maintenance all the way Our building journey viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77582 Re: Stoneleigh Dale Alcock Baldivis: PCI Friday 16th 477Oct 09, 2015 1:31 am How lovely to have a pool and everything done by the time you move in Re: Stoneleigh Dale Alcock Baldivis: PCI Friday 16th 478Oct 10, 2015 12:39 pm Thanks ak11, MrsMaccaPacca, Cara, Ourmansion & Malsannie It will be nice to have everything done, our current home took a very long time to complete so it will be nice to enjoy everything straight away. MrsMaccaPacca, the bi-fold windows were delivered, then the glazing soon after and then all of a sudden both weren't there when I visited after one weekend. We were very disappointed when we seen that they were taken... I am with you ourmansion with the artificial lawn, can't wait to have less work to do around the house! There is a chance that our pool may not be getting installed now until Jan too Cara, it might be too much of a tight squeeze with the pool equipment, headers, water feature, fencing etc before xmas so we are now thinking we might put it off so we can get it done all at once. I have booked in our building inspector for Friday so it will probably be the inspector and my partner going through that morning. Didn't think we would ever be at this point, still pinching myself! Re: Stoneleigh Dale Alcock Baldivis: PCI Friday 16th 479Oct 10, 2015 12:59 pm PCI is so close That is such a shame about the bifold doors, can't believe people feel it is their right to take them It will be amazing to move into a house with everything done already and a pool will be fantastic!! My kids desperately want a pool but I think it might be a little saving before that happens lol! Good luck with PCI I hope everything goes well:) My Home Group build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77067 Stoneleigh Dale Alcock Baldivis: PCI Friday 16th 480Oct 10, 2015 6:31 pm Yes ours we had to put off installing, we have changed our dates 3 times now but we are paying cash so we are saving hard for it. Hoping we can get our flooring around the pool done around the same time, well within the week of it being installed. What flooring are you choosing to go? We are planning on honed concrete but it won't be the slippery type. Building our first home - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75306 |
