Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 17, 2016 2:10 pm Hi everyone, We were going down the route of employing a kit home company to design our new house. Being a kit builder, they provide numerous plans online. We have taken their plans and modified them quite a lot to the point now where the only room that remains the same between them is really the master bedroom. Also, their online plans contain no measurements and hence we provided them all ourselves. Unfrotunately, this company is just far too slow and because of them, we wouldn't be in a position to even commence building until next year. Hence, we're now thinking of going out on our own. I've attached their plans and the ones we have done up - are we okay or are we breaking copyright laws?
