Ours isnt due to start till mid next year (land isnt registered yet) exciting times ahead! Awesome! Ours has been reduced to 25sq with all the modifications. I have wondered if we should've just gone with the Noosa 25 but I got too attached to our custom design. Probably would have been easier (and possibly cheaper)! Where are you building? Have you made any changes to the floor plan? Re: First home - Coral Homes Noosa 29 in Mango Hill 6Dec 28, 2014 2:31 pm we are only in early stages, the land isnt even ready yet but we havent changed too much really, its pretty spot on as it is for us.Very happy with the layout.. right now we are trying to work out colours (probably ahead of ourselves) but its already doing my head in LOL We are going to build at Hamlyn Terrace NSW central coast. Cant wait to get it started manderinne lisalent we are also building a Coral Noosa but the 25. Would be cool to keep an eye on how yours is doing. Look forward to following as your build progresses. First home - Coral Homes Noosa 25 (custom) 8Dec 28, 2014 7:22 pm That's great you love your design. We looked at lots of other builders but Coral's designs really stood out. Colours are the fun part! But it does do your head in. You can ask your salesperson for a copy of the colour guide to get started. You can also go to Beaumont Tiles and ask for Coral's tile specs. Good luck! Waiting is a bummer but it does give you more time to save. lisalent we are only in early stages, the land isnt even ready yet but we havent changed too much really, its pretty spot on as it is for us.Very happy with the layout.. right now we are trying to work out colours (probably ahead of ourselves) but its already doing my head in LOL We are going to build at Hamlyn Terrace NSW central coast. The one with the sink. Ta We were quoted about $700 for the bench top upgrade and $950 to add the 40mm waterfall. I guess it will depend on bench size - ours is just shy of 3m Re: First home - Coral Homes Noosa 25 (custom) 13Dec 29, 2014 3:00 pm thanks for that, unsure of our size so will ask when we see them next s_mack lisalent Does anyone know the upgrade cost from 20mm ceaserstone to 40mm just for one bench in the kitchen? So probably $1000 - $2000 if i had to hazard a guess. Your sales agent probably has a cost per meter so they can tell you fairly quickly. I like those changes you made to the house design, it will come up a treat! Hopefully that initial tender letter isn't too far off.. Hey Katie! Thanks, I've been obsessing over it for the past 8 months so I feel like I'm already living in it. It will be so great once we are all in our homes and get to the fun part (decorating). Re: First home - Coral Homes Noosa 25 (custom) 19Jan 22, 2015 9:32 am Two bits of good news yesterday! One - after gently prodding my sales rep, we should have the first tender letter next Wednesday. I'm eager to see how the budget is coping so I can keep planning the after handover stuff. We will be doing the driveway, landscaping, fencing, decking, carpets and possibly lighting out of pocket, eek. We had a soil test done prior to settlement and got M, which was an unexpected bonus as we'd budgeted for H. Two - The next stage of our estate was released and prices have gone up significantly. Blocks of our size (567m2) are now selling for $15k more than what we paid in September, so we are very happy about this. It looks like the premium block sizes are being replaced by smaller ones - this stage (6 of 20) is the first to have 320m2 blocks and an average of 400m2. Whereas stage 1 had blocks up to 1000m2 and an average of 600m2! Not much progress, but it's good to know the ball is starting to roll Re: First home - Coral Homes Noosa 25 (custom) 20Jan 22, 2015 10:09 am We were pleasantly surprised at how accurate our sales reps 'guestimate' was to our tender price. Hopefully you'll find the same. Good work on getting in early in the estate. We're finding the estates near us keep going up and up and up with each release too. Follow my Coral Daydream 28 build: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=72384 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13771 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4339 Is there a building permit? RU in Victoria? What is the value of the building contract? 1 6821 |
