We are about to sign the contract and i want to change our island bench top side with two 40L pullout bin just like yours. What's the length of your pull out bin? Did you have the pot draw on the cook top side and what's the length of that? Many thanks Re: Coral Homes - Noosa 29 (Modified) - Handover 27/10 449Oct 17, 2015 12:49 pm SS confirmed that the wall fix was on track so PCI will be next Thursday (original handover date). Barring any further issues they are giving us an early handover the following Tuesday to allow the tiler to start immediately. Phew! Sigh. Hard to tell from that photo but the screen is supposed to butt up against the mirror ie. it's on the wrong edge of the nib wall. Re: Coral Homes - Noosa 29 (Modified) - Handover 27/10 452Oct 18, 2015 10:12 pm Screens and mirrors look great manderinne, we have the same martec linear 3in1 bathroom light thing and it's amazing (so damn bright) oh that's frustrating the screen it's in quite the right place, your getting so close but these little mistakes are a pain in the butt. Are they coming back? We're going to wait until PCI on Thursday to have a proper look. If we can't live with it as it is, we'll ask them to move it then. Shouldn't be a big job. But why can't they follow plans correctly in the first place?! Re: Coral Homes - Noosa 29 (Modified) - Handover 27/10 455Oct 21, 2015 1:53 pm PCI tomorrow! We booked someone from Kspec to accompany us and give us some peace of mind and we have the blind company coming out for a check measure while we're there. Hopefully it all goes smoothly. We have everything lined up for the weeks following handover - tiling, carpets, blinds, driveway and extra concreting by others, and retaining walls, fences, grout sealing, packing/moving/unpacking by us - and should have it all done and be settled in by the 16th November. We'll be without grass, landscaping and external fences for a while but we're hoping to host Christmas this year so that's the goal. Re: Coral Homes - Noosa 29 (Modified) - Handover 27/10 456Oct 21, 2015 1:55 pm Glad to hear you're using k-spec, they'll be very helpful I'm sure! Sounds like you have everything in place and you just need to go through each step You'll get there! It was very uneventful, no major problems and we're still on track for keys on Tuesday. So glad we pushed for the powder room wall to be fixed, it would have looked pretty bad as it was. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ We also decided to leave the shower screen as is, might just get a longer mirror installed so there's no gap between the screen and mirror. We figures the glass stabilising shelves in the corners can be used to hold bottles (which was why we had the shower screen on the other side of the wall in the first place). Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The Kspec guy was lovely, wandered around for an hour and a half and said it was one of the better finished homes he'd seen. The SS looked totally exhausted and just over it all. Didn't take any other pics coz everything looks the same! Was it Phil from K-Spec? Not Phil, a guy named Rod. Was hoping for Phil after hearing such good things but Rod was great. Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 14199 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4377 Is there a building permit? RU in Victoria? What is the value of the building contract? 1 6884 |
