Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Dec 25, 2014 4:00 pm Hi all, I've just signed up with HGWA and picked a promo design which had some great inclusions, and then upgraded to the "complete" package. I'm just after thoughts about some inclusions in the "complete" package that have been doubled up on i.e led lighting and stone bench tops etc... That were already inclusions in the promo Should I point this out to my CLO and chase up some sort of credit for it? TIA Re: Inclusion advice needed 2Dec 25, 2014 10:45 pm Hi Scott and Michelle. There will be a lot of double ups as they can't offer a more premuim inclusions package without including most of the items from the inclusions package below it - otherwise there is no upgrade. Depending on builder, there is usually only a handful of extra inclusions in the upgraded packages, so you have to decide whether those extra inclusions are worth it. I doubt they will give you credit, but no harm in asking and bartering - all they can say is no Always worth a crack! What's said to be included and they also appear in the "special" edition. But - you might find out they were not "really" in the basic one. I well remember going into one Companies display houses and thinking how wonderful all the things were - only to find out they were not "standard" ... But - its always worth questioning and perhaps some "mock" outrage - it might gain you something. Also to mention what the opposition include. Re: Inclusion advice needed 4Dec 26, 2014 10:25 am Being someone building with HGWA, I would say to you it can't hurt to ask. But don't be surprised if you get a big fat no. I would also say just check what inclusions are in each package - their sale package might only be their Della Vita stone bench tops but by going to the Complete package you might get Corian included as well to choose from. We had this with the Resort specs, which we are building, we had three choices of bench tops. We also had a greater range of tap ware without having to pay to upgrade.
