Hopefully that means it will heal quicker! Re: Suffolk Park - Aussie Living - PCI Date finally!! 449Nov 14, 2015 3:16 am Oh no I'm so sorry to hear that!!! All the best and good luck - hope it isn't too painful Re: Suffolk Park - Aussie Living - Lockup! 450Nov 14, 2015 8:56 pm kron kdolls Went past your house yesterday. Its all coming together. Call/email builder everyday. Get a list what needs to be done. You need to push to get a pci. That's what we did. Good Luck Kron Kdolls Thanks Yeah I email my CLO every day or second day at the most. Only thing is we know more than she does, one of my emails detailing what had been done was replied with her saying she should put me on their payroll haha. My list now from what I've gathered: Fly screens Light globes Garage doors Floor boards and carpet Shower taps Plumbing finals Shower screens/mirrors Window coverings Door handles and locks (on site, require installation) Towel rails (on site, require installation) Commissioner/touch ups House clean Site clean List seems long, but looking at it, most of that can be done in 1 day, so why we don't have a PCI is well beyond me! After this list, this is what I can see is left before PCI Fly screens Light globes (these are done by us, not included) House clean Site clean Fence (being installed now) Ensuite ledge was getting fixed today when I got there. Fencing posts had been started, 3 or 4 had been put in place. Still waiting on the wall to be patched around the window in the theater room though, I brought it up with SS last week so he said it will be done before PCI. Met Steve today (zerocool 0) which was good Re: Suffolk Park - Aussie Living - PCI Date finally!! 451Nov 14, 2015 9:16 pm Oh news on the driveway. It was done like that because apparently you need 500mm around the electrical dome - Western Power regulations so there's nothing that can be done about it. I can fill in a request to have the dome relocated but thats going to cost me 5-10 grand which I just dont have, and it's likely they will say no anyways because my dome powers my house and my neighbors. Really unhappy about this as we have always struggled with driveways in all our rentals and this was meant to be the end of that, but it's probably one of the worst cases! Re: Suffolk Park - Aussie Living - PCI Date finally!! 452Nov 14, 2015 11:08 pm That is a shame isn't it - why don't they tell people these things when you plan your house? I've been looking at it and wonder whether you couldn't make it broader to the other side, ie, let it follow the same line as it does on the right (if you face the house). So basically have the driveway the same width everywhere but not straight on the left as it is now? I'm not very good at explaining sorry! Edit to add a very quick pic to show what I mean: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Suffolk Park - Aussie Living - PCI Date finally!! 453Nov 16, 2015 4:36 pm yes mate was good to meet you i think go larger to the left (as you are looking at your house ) not perfect but at least you can fit 2 cars on Re: Suffolk Park - Aussie Living - PCI Date finally!! 454Nov 16, 2015 4:50 pm It's a good idea, but I'd still be unsure if a car could get out of the right side because of how high up the angle cuts in from. I'll do a trial when I'm there next, fencers were there today - paid them to have the fence extended from the boundary line an extra 3.5m to join at the house so the dog won't get out when we move in. Also the guys were there doing grey float on the chipped theater window, so thats finally getting fixed! PCI on Thursday, I'm actually preferring there to be delays as bad as that sounds cos i got out of surgery this morning and was told it was a terrible fracture, several fragments of bone had broken so theres lots of little screws in there holding it together. Cant do ANYTHING with that arm for at least 2 weeks so if we were to get keys all I'm going to want to do is lift and assemble things. Id rather my wrist be stable enough to do so Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Suffolk Park - Aussie Living - PCI Date finally!! 455Nov 16, 2015 4:54 pm It will be just your luck, and you'll get keys on time! Yep, with that luck, you'll definitely get keys on time Re: Suffolk Park - Aussie Living - PCI Date finally!! 458Nov 18, 2015 10:06 pm PCI tomorrow, I know there's going to be a massive list. Based on the fact that I was there today and heaps still needed to be done. Good luck, house is looking lovely Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 I would be wary. Is you site demilished but nothing else done? Sounds like liquidity problems to me. Our builder did the same. Got hundreds of thousands of dollars of… 2 15507 3 5720 |
