Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Dec 15, 2014 10:31 pm Hello Everyone We are building a new house with a major builder an apart from their normal package where they throw in things like ducting stone kitches upgraded taps etc. I was wondering how negotiable builders are with throwing in extra things you negotiate with them so they are more inclined to win the job and keep you onboard. At the moment we have managed to negotiate about $3K worth of non standard extras. I'm now starting to wonder if Im selling myself short and possibly go for me. Just wondering as general interest and discussions what most people have managed to get builders to throw in. Approx dollar value and what they were willing to add free of charge so to speak to win you as a customer. Hopefully this will help people in the future.
