We have been pulling teeth with M3 for the last 12 mths and still not signed off on pre-start yet. After seeing all the negative posts here now wondering if we should count our losses (the deposit payment) and find a different builder. Thoughts? not very good with this so not sure if you got the first mail. can give you other peoples numbers who are not on this forum but they have had a really bad experience with this company, please think very carefully before chosing your builder. These negative posts are not on here for the good of our build we are already in too deep, its there to help others like yourself make decisions. Good luck with whatever choice you make Re: Byford Central - M3 Residential - Plate Height!! 85Sep 05, 2015 3:39 pm Hi all, Another update - they have started the roof. Bad news is that when we rocked up we caught another builders contractors stealing our roof frames reported it to our supervisor straight away. The contractors weren't happy they got caught! Monday Update - Contractors were a company called All Star Construction Group - Owner Shaun Curtis (He was the one ly ing to my face). They have been terminated from working for Niche Living. About 3-4 of which are very concerning. I have emailed the builder and hoping for a quick response. Re: Byford Central - M3 Residential - Roof Completed 92Sep 29, 2015 10:28 am Hi all, Our main concerns are with the roof. Others include errors in drafting, BAL requirements, small defects etc. Still waiting on M3 to give me a proper response on how and when they are going to fix up the issues, particularly the ones of main concern. After visiting site on Sunday I can see they have fix some of the issues we raised. Coming together so quickly Byford Central-M3 Residential-Ceiling & Walls Plastered/Cab 98Oct 12, 2015 8:06 pm Hi guys another update. Ceilings have been completed, internal, garage and alfresco. Internal wall plaster is almost completed. Looks like a nice finish. Cabinets and some bench tops & bathroom sinks have been delivered. The builder should be contacting me soon for the tile meeting, and we are using that meeting to bring up some of the issues we picked up last time. Unfortunately sometime last week vandals smashed our back windows from the inside out. Annoying, but builder is taking care of it. The roof beam was sticking out past the bulkhead and into the ceiling space. When questioned the builder said that the bulkhead would cover it. We didn't understand how this would happen due to the bulkhead already in place and was not covering it. On the weekend we saw that they have widened the bulkhead quiet a bit to cover this beam. It makes the room feel very small and it was not meant to be like this. I'd say it's over 1m wide Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Issue 2: In the master bedroom one roof beam is strutting off a hanging beam and not off a supporting beam like its meant to. I requested information about this and was told by the builder that it wasn't supporting anything and could be removed if I wanted. I am still waiting to talk to them about it, and has been covered up now. So far I'm happy with 80-90% of the build process, and will be writing a full review on here and on product review after the build has finished. Hopefully they get fixed for you soon. And fingers crossed the issues with bulkhead and beam get fixed too...
