Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Dec 08, 2014 9:56 pm Hi All I have read a bit on this forum in relation to building inspectors on new builds. However, I'm not 100% sure where bang for buck ****** in terms of what stages someone would consider "critical" or what stages are good but perhaps not must haves if you can't afford etc? To provide context I am building in Perth. Usual double brick single storey. I am about to have site works next week and slab down week after. Is it worth getting this checked straight after slab down (possibly given progress payment one is just after slab down! ) Slab Down? Plate Height? Roof frames or roof on? Some stage in about here? PCI? Your thoughts are appreciated.
