Re: Coral Homes general build thread 9723Sep 19, 2017 5:26 am I have always found this forum brilliant but yesterday I found out once again. We are into our fourth week of being in our Daydream 30. This means that our ss has had 8 weeks to get many jobs fixed one being my portico needs a massive clean as there is footprints etc on the composite timber. Since we shifted in he has stated he is ill and currently off work yet I found out on here he is still attending other site visits therefore he isn't off work. Funny thing is that I have told him on several occasions I use this forum. I am yet to see a feedback form from Coral that my ss really encouraged me to complete. How long does this usually take to come through - or maybe I won't get one since being blocked off the coral Facebook page Re: Coral Homes general build thread 9724Sep 19, 2017 6:39 am dougang287 I have always found this forum brilliant but yesterday I found out once again. How long does this usually take to come through - or maybe I won't get one since being blocked off the coral Facebook page It was a few months before I got mine. I didn't bother filling it in. Unfortunately we are 9 months post handover (oh my god can you believe that!) and we are STILL going with issues. Some haven't even been quoted on to be fixed. I really hope it is a quicker process for you. Will be interesting to see if they charge a V/O Fee for a suitable basin change I've made it pretty clear though that I don't think it's a fair situation to be charging a V/O fee as it's not a change of mind but simply will not work with the current item.. Most top mount sinks will have the tap installed on the sink not in the stone Generally stone mount is done for undermount sinks Re: Coral Homes general build thread 9728Sep 19, 2017 5:29 pm Whitey22 Caydenn So Coral homes has sold us an over mount sink that doesn't work at all with our tap (the nozzle won't even be over the basin when installed into the stone lol). It would be our luck to be the same My thought exactly was that taps could not be stone mounted but need to instead by sink mounted but she said they couldn't do that because part of the cylindrical base of the tap sits off the mounting space and causes it to wiggle. Here is a picture of how far my tap would reach if they followed what is currently in our MyChoice Selections (told by Coral this is fine to do lol) The blue lines are the length of the tap... wouldn't even come close... Basin is a clark punch 1.75 with a phoenix blix tap. The first payment is the slab payment and usually happens just after the slab goes down. Yes thanks we signed contract back in feb so have already had to apply twice as they only last 3mths hoping for slab before mid oct 🤞think I'm dreaming You should check your detail drawings, it may show downpipe within brick pier. 14 14099 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13771 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4338 |
