Has anyone chosen Tambo Blend or Slate as their brick choice ? I'd love to see a picture of it and which mortar / grout did you choose ?

Hey this is the slate with off white motar that we are having its a house up the road being built. It such a changeable colour but in full sun it's beaut

they have t cleaned the bricks yet but I am heading back up Friday so I will take another photo if u like

Also not sure what brick this one is but it's similar also Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅

It's nice isn't it we upgraded and it cost $3000 with off white mortar but our house is 302sqm and it's everywhere not sure how much the austral one is but I saw ours boral slate and liked the finish up close, it's cheaper than render

For sure I have become obsessed with it because it's such a different look I rang coral and asked what colour this brick is and it's in the display then I went to our local pgh brick yard and asked for houses in the area that had used it. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅

We put a double fluro in garage cause it's so big.

May I suggest that if you are going to put in a workbench area, that you get extra lighting above that area ?

In my place I put in a simple led 'flouro' in the middle of the garage, but then put in two double tube T5 fixtures down the end of the garage where my workbenches are located.

With one switch for the central light, and a second switch for the lights over the workbench area.

We have slate included as part of our facade option so we could use it as a feature brick at the front for free.

It is to protect the forum from some of these project builders suing the forum should someone say something less than flattering about them.

So if you want to use dodg-ie you need to be a bit more creative.
