Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Coral Homes general build thread 10221Dec 19, 2017 12:00 pm I can't handle this anymore!!!! Had a meeting with our ss today who fibbed to our face saying that he never told us we would be in end of Jan!! Now we need to find somewhere else to live. Fair trading also got a call from the office which she also told them that we would have PCI and handover end of Jan. I can't believe this is happening to us 😟Or anyone for that matter. Also our ss told us that if we are nice to him then he will be priorities our job and if not then he will concentrate on someone else's. We have been so understanding this whole time I don't know what we ever did wrong to this company! we have not had any response from state building manager who was meant to get back to us Friday it's just exhausting and the sad part is this company just gets away with it and they know it!!! I hope everyone gets all their stuff sorted I wouldn't wish this upon anyone we are all meant to be enjoying this experience it's utterly disappointing. We took it out but now regretting it... thanks in advance I don’t think you’ll be able to do that because your plans have been certified as is- I remember we deleted the alfresco slab from one set of plans to another, Coral forgot to get it signed off and the night before slab pour there was a big run around trying to get the new slab layout approved. I might be wrong but aside from approval issues Coral has had big issues with slabs being the incorrect size and it’s a massive expense to fix- so I doubt any site supervisor would let it happen as part of the main slab pour. Ah, that makes sense! Damn Re: Coral Homes general build thread 10229Dec 21, 2017 3:11 pm StephLee MrsJM StephLee Has anyone ever got whoever lays the slab to do the Alfresco slab for cash? You should check your detail drawings, it may show downpipe within brick pier. 14 14121 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13781 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4355 |
