Re: Coral Homes general build thread 5022Aug 15, 2016 2:02 pm Interesting. I had my electrical rough in and the electrician commented that the cabinet maker will need to be notified so that they can adjust the drawer inside to take the PowerPoint. Maybe someone got lazy and thought this was easier! C U S T O M. C O R A L. Kitchen benchtop was being installed, I only did a quick walk around as felt I was in the way (asked tradies permission). Couldn't see a PP on island bench? Do they do the cut out once everything gets connected? Elec rough in was done weeks ago.. http://www.forum.homeone.com.au/viewtop ... 31&t=82452 Cheers, Tegan (& Josh) Marcoola 30 with CORAL HOMES 2016 SANDSTONE LAKES, NINGI Queensland Our Build Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=82452 Re: Coral Homes general build thread 5024Aug 15, 2016 2:41 pm Hi all, That definitely isn't how ours looks!! Ours is slimline and is really flush with our bench, I love it! The pic is from before we moved in but you can see it pretty well. We had no issues with it at all. As for when it goes in, it's when all of your lighting and power points go in and you won't see a hole cut until then so don't panic ! Question, how long did it take everyone's bank to go out and have their final inspections? I'm stressing about not getting in this week Re: Coral Homes general build thread 5027Aug 15, 2016 4:43 pm ASH Jordan Springs I tucked my island PowerPoint in the back of the island as I have waterfall edges so it's on the side where the stools will sit and I'm sure it's slim like Lexie's .. Shame cause he's a lovely guy! I will go check out the place tomorrow but my brother had a check this arvo (he works for the aircon company) and it's all been fixed and he said apart from that the rest looks great and that he's done a great job! I think it's raked, you select it in your colour appointment, I chose flush. Re: Coral Homes general build thread 5037Aug 16, 2016 8:40 pm I thought round was standard? The wouldn't let us have flush.. We were originally going to render, but then we fell in love with our Moondust bricks http://www.forum.homeone.com.au/viewtop ... 31&t=82452 Cheers, Tegan (& Josh) Marcoola 30 with CORAL HOMES 2016 SANDSTONE LAKES, NINGI Queensland Our Build Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=82452 Re: Coral Homes general build thread 5038Aug 16, 2016 8:43 pm I just checked ours and i think she selected round.. i dont remember her even asking so assume that is standard for us. It says flush for the rendered bits. Hubby decided after seeing the round that he would prefer raked.. Its abit late now!!! Dads a bricklayer and he said the round joins look good. We originally wanted flush but not rendering so I think they just went back to standard? I remember being asked though You should check your detail drawings, it may show downpipe within brick pier. 14 14099 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13769 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4335 |
