We have finally got to the end of this nightmare build with Coral Homes and QLD certifier wont issue OC cert due to we dont have gutter guard in the valleys of the roof. And wont issue interim OC cert, as item is a fire bal. We were told by the SS to do the gutters, which we did, now everything is finally complete they are saying we have to do the valleys. Spoke with council and they say we dont, and they are happy for the QLD certifier to ring them, we have the contact within council for them, but they wont. So just wondering if anyone has had to do them because I cant find anyone local who has done it on their builds. Apart from another extra added cost, and the time to order and install, photos of it on the internet dont look good. We have 8 valleys to do. The bushfire report we paid $935.00 for, says we dont need them. What was the point of paying for the report ?? Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 14237 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4377 |
