Exhaust fans, we are fitting our own after hand over (or getting a professional to) who does it? An electrician? My question is, beacon sell them so do many places but what exactly do you get when you buy an exhaust fan? Just the fan bit? Isn't there more to it? Like things to go in the roof to send the air out!? Haha I'm sorry I have no idea and I really wanto go buy them but need half a clue before I ring an electrician and ask to come and install them LoL Re: Coral Homes general build thread 8723Jun 16, 2017 8:52 am Help me please guys I turned up today to let the NBN guy into the garage and I got into the house I m not meant to be in but the led light strip is so not what I thought I would be, also it comes on all the time with the kitchen lights and doesn't go on by itself Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Milestone coral homes modified stradebroke 32 Re: Coral Homes general build thread 8724Jun 16, 2017 10:21 am Milestone Help me please guys I turned up today to let the NBN guy into the garage and I got into the house I m not meant to be in but the led light strip is so not what I thought I would be, also it comes on all the time with the kitchen lights and doesn't go on by itself Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Hi Milestone. Did you have it on a separate switch on your electrical plan? What was supposed to be put in? To me a strip is one of those thin strips (literally a strip). In saying that, I don't think it looks too bad. If it isn't what you want, have a chat with them. Fingers crossed you have keys in your hand soon!! What do they require in order to get your building contract together? Do you do all your colour selections, tiles etc before they do a contract or does that come after the contract is drawn up. We are going in tomorrow to start the process toward getting our contracts. Thanks!! We had similar issues.. we only signed our contract last weekend though and our finance is being finalised now.. our lot is expected to register in July... We are the same don't worry would love to be in our own place for Christmas but not holding my breath. I can't tell by your photo but is there any diffuser casing or have they just glued the strip directly to the cupboards? Mine is also on a separate switch. Does anyone know of this having been built or in progress anywhere, or anyone have a picture of this facade. I would like to get an as built perspective instead of the rendering on their website. Yes looks like it's in diffuser case. If you have rebates under your overheads I would absolutely be fighting to get that removed, get flat rectangular casing and put it in the rebate. Never seen that in a coral display home. And that's the standard I'm holding these muppets to now!!! C U S T O M. C O R A L. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck.
