Do i need my solicitor to check the pretender and is it worth, as they may not have experience with building side of things?
other than design aspects - what are they key items that we need to double/triple check - please suggest

I and my partner checked it together in detail. Have the oroginal design and your previous quote, and compare them with the new design and quote. Before signing the contract, try to read at least briefly.
Thanks, looking at it in detail. Will do the detailed comparison as well.
Only thing extra seems to be the request for retaining wall due to cut and fill.
Also some clause added to state owners responsibility if council asks for more docs or approvals or does not agree for relaxation.
Is this normal with every builder terms ?
