How did it go? I ended up delaying making the appointment so many times that now they aren't taking any more appointments at the Varsity Office! we spent 5k I think that's what we will end up spending too. Did you owner supply or just have Coral supply it all? Oh well no point in having a beautiful house if you can't see it in the dark Re: Coral Homes general build thread 7935Mar 10, 2017 8:38 pm We didnt owner supply anything and didnt go with everything. We got rid of the battens and replaced to downlights. Got them to fit all our sockets and will get the electrician to supply/fit the other 40 lights we want. With the plan today we have situated lights so coral ends up running the lights to the furtherest point. The pricing is absolutely horrendous and Clipsal told us that Coral sets the price not them. We paid $73 fee to get them to fit a socket to our island bench - even though power is out there anyway with where coral puts dishwasher and microwave Re: Coral Homes general build thread 7936Mar 11, 2017 7:00 am Has anyone been to the Clipsal showroom at Southbank? Just wanting to know whether it's worth dragging hubby and the kids up there. We will be owner supplying lights and fans but I was hoping they might give some info regarding prices. Thanks Re: Coral Homes general build thread 7937Mar 11, 2017 7:55 am GCGirl Has anyone been to the Clipsal showroom at Southbank? They are still holding appointments at Varsity but are fully booked for the next 2 months. I have been told my best options are going to their Brisbane office or over the phone. Have you paid your deposit? Once we paid our $5k deposit Clipsal, National and Beaumont Tiles contacted us. The $5k is in addition to the $1750. You should check your detail drawings, it may show downpipe within brick pier. 14 14078 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck.
