Looking at building with coral homes. Question. Can you fight different display centres/sales people against each other? like buying a new car and going to different dealers for the same car. Do they work on a commission at all? We did go to three different consultants and they all managed to give us different options. In the end we got everything we wanted included for about $30k less then our original quote Wow that's interesting. First thing we were asked in every office of every builder was 'have you spoken to any other sales consultant' and if we said yes, they referred us back. Zerog, our block was clear and flat and 'easy' too. All the best, with whatever you decide. I just couldn't put my hand on my heart and recommend them. But as others have said, they have had a good run. I would say though, the good builds tend to be qld. Some of the shockers have been nsw central coast and Sydney. C U S T O M. C O R A L. B R O N T E. 43 http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=79581 Yeah even when we said we had gone to our original consultant and that's who we were planning to go with they still offered to price it up and see what they could do. We went with our original salesperson but had more of an idea which options we could get for cheaper Re: Coral Homes general build thread 5083Aug 18, 2016 7:31 pm Von haven't heard back from him (he had a rdo today according to my bf) but I was only having this convo with him yesterday because my neighbour I having issues connecting hers he said that we don't even have access to adsl right now! He said I should put the order in right now cause the wait to get a tech out is 3-8 weeks so sounds about right! Tara viewtopic.php?t=82565 Re: Coral Homes general build thread 5084Aug 18, 2016 7:40 pm Just after some advice... I absolutely love my bricks Yay!!! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ But.. there are a few cr@ppy ones in the batch, Will these clean off with the acid wash or should i ask for them to be replaced? Im thinking the first as the quality of the work is really great so seems strange they would purposely put up cr@p bricks. Maybe see if you could chat with the brickies and ask if you can get there when they are working. Maybe take them some morning tea to thank them for the good job, then ask about the odd looking ones.
Re: Coral Homes general build thread 5086Aug 18, 2016 7:50 pm I'm glad that your bricks are getting done however those cr@%%y ones look dodg. Was it something that spilt on them and they were stained? But after thought, I thought the acid wash was designed to be gentle and not impact colour too much. Looking at building with coral homes. Question. Can you fight different display centres/sales people against each other? like buying a new car and going to different dealers for the same car. Do they work on a commission at all? Going through head office was a headache (a lot of builders are the same) but other than that the build itself had gone well. We are happy so far, and we have a good Site Supervisor. Some people have a great experience and some don't. There's always going to be problems whoever you build with. Coral are project builders, you might get a different experience with someone smaller. We liked the finishes in the displays and all the upgrades at good prices like stone benches, wall hung vanity, 1200 door, steel frame, colourbond roof etc coral were also willing to change floor plans for us unlike plantation. Best of luck! http://www.forum.homeone.com.au/viewtop ... 31&t=82452 Yeah being able to modify the floor plan and even get outside people in to do some smaller jobs is a reason we are thinking of going with them looking at building on the NSW central coast on a flat easy piece of vacant land. We are on the central coast we thought we had a flat easy lot it was so not flat we didn't realise how sloped it was till it was levelled we had a delay at the beginning then we got a new ss and he is amazing everything has happened either when or even before he said it would I usually call him every Friday for an update and forgot one day and he called me to give me the update Re: Coral Homes general build thread 5093Aug 18, 2016 9:29 pm Re: Coral Homes general build thread 5095Aug 19, 2016 6:05 pm Out of interest, how many people opted for elegance inclusions and how many chose designer style? Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13745 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 1766 |
