When my inspector picked up issues, coral had them all fixed, some straight away and some not. But they werent major but they were rectifies nonetheless. In my walkthrough about 2 or 3 weeks ago, my inspectors report had about 30 pages of issues vs corals 10 pages. However when i spoke to my ss on monday about handover this friday, he said he was working hard to get the issues fixed by handover, so as long as you have a good ss there should be no problems. I reckon the ss makes or breaks the build. Granted, compared to nsw i didnt have to pay much, but it was peace of mind. He did find a few issues at every stage but they were minor and if I didnt hire him I doubt I would have picked up the same issues. If you dont do all stages, I would suggest at least slab, frame and pci at minimum. Avoca 25 in Gainsborough Greens Gold Coast viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81406 Thanks Von. I will hire an inspector Building Newport 20, Edmondson Park, NSW Coral Homes general build thread 5058Aug 18, 2016 7:47 am BTTTB I'm not sure what that means von but my best mates hubby works for Telstra (specifically in the new home section) so if you have questions I can ask him for you Tara viewtopic.php?t=82565 Oh wow thats handy! Thank you! Telstra velocity is high speed internet, like NBN. Well my partner signed us up on Tuesday for a plan with Telstra, and because im in a new estate our address doesnt show up in their system( we have telstra's infrastructure installed already, just needs a sign up and a new line connection). So jeremy was told that it would take a few weeks (2-4?) for the address to come up in their system , and then we have to wait however many weeks for a technician. So we could theoretically be waiting at least a month before we get a technician date. I was wondering realistically how long we would be waiting. Ive heard of so many horror stories with technician delays. He runs a business from home where we rely on people calling us and we have a special ordering system, so we cant just use our mobiles to run the business, as we need access to our order system that is run online. We move in on 3rd september so i dont know what we're gonna do if theres no internet. We cant even get adsl temporarily as we've been advised only fibre plans are available in a velocity estate. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 14164 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish.
