At the end of the day it mostly comes down to the SS. If he is reasonably competent and not overloaded with overseeing to many builds, things should in theory go ok... after all these are project homes. Unfortunately ours has been a 14 month disaster that will come to an end next Friday. I think it also comes down to the home owner as well. Make sure the plans are right, make sure the paperwork is right and inspect the build. MrsJm is on the right track with ensuring everything is right, as the home owner you need to be in top of it. The SS also needs to be right as well however Defdaz and I had the same SS however it seems our build experiences were vastly different. I have no gripes over our build, 1 thing was missed but it was a 'want' not a 'need' item so we let it slide. Would I recommend Coral? Based on our experience then yes. Remember a happy customer will tell on average 2 people however a dissatisfied customer will tell 11 so I think in this thread the people having a a bad time overall are more vocal then those that aren't. You should check your detail drawings, it may show downpipe within brick pier. 14 14300 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 14393 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4380 |
