I'm having second thoughts on this and feel like we should have gone with it but it's way too late to change with head office and I'm wondering if the painter would do it directly. No biggy really just a thought! The SS told us we can easily add feature walls with them directly but not sure about wash n wear! I hope so... After daz's issues with the enamel paint I'm hoping to speak to the painter to get him to use a particular acrylic paint on my skirting and doors... Hopefully for cash and beer they will do anything! To be fair they're much improved after a few weeks of closing them frequently. Our painter rang and gave us the option of upgrading if we wanted before he painted all the walls. Re: Coral Homes general build thread 3930Apr 19, 2016 11:41 pm Flooring question! So we are supplying and installing all flooring ourselves, coral just HAS to install wet areas (2 x bathroom, powder, laundry, splash back) went for a look in Beaumont today and found new tiles we love.. Can you source the same tiles from outside suppliers or are the tiles in Beaumont tiles, only "beaumont brand"? Or is it just the warm based whites that do it I'm really afraid of this as all the colours we've chosen are cool colours so the yellow will stand out a lot Re: Coral Homes general build thread 3932Apr 20, 2016 7:56 am Denym Has everyone's gloss paint turned yellow? That said I don't know over what period of time the paint yellows. I wanted vivid white or white on white but we weren't aloud we were told it would come out clear do they water it down? Lexicon half was as white as I could get Re: Coral Homes general build thread 3940Apr 20, 2016 8:35 am Ryalls_first_build They wouldn't even give us the option of any of the lexicon colours Strange, we have picked lexicon and didnt have any issues with the colour consultant. I do want to speak to the painter about our choice and ask his opinion and now i want to bring up the yellowing issue. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13771 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4346 |
