So now just waiting on demo to start and then we can start v.2.0 of the slab.
Wow. I guess you aren't getting there after all!
At least they're doing it again rather than trying to fob you off with a bodged slab.

Handover is scheduled for Tuesday with council attending Monday morning for final sign off. If Tuesday is the day it will make for a five month turnaround.. obviously less than impressed with the time however as I look at other builds I think we've been pretty lucky.. Hi MrsJM, It was 220 days which would given an end date mid May. At our initial meeting the SS advised build should be approx 12-16 weeks and pay no attention to the contract end date. Funny however as another person I know building in the same area had 172 day contract period. No consistency at all. Congratulations, hope it goes well today Re: Coral Homes general build thread 3718Mar 14, 2016 1:43 pm Hey, can anyone help me here? I saw a lovely letterbox somewhere on here but now can't find it. It had a stained wood frame with the letterbox behind it and the street number on the front. I thought Tal posted it but have been right through her thread and can't find it there. ???? Thanks ! Re: Coral Homes general build thread 3719Mar 14, 2016 5:29 pm NicMac03 Has anyone got fixed wireless nbn? If so did you need the data package from coral or was it done after completion? ? Depending on your needs and the retailer you choose. If you're happy to connect your phone service through the modem (voip) than you can simply rely on the nbn installer to arrange the antenna and termination device. If you want multiple phone points and require an always on phone service I would investigate having coral still wire the home for a phone service (you will still need to pay for the connection between the house and pit however Coral should install the conduit to make this occur). It would be best practice to install as many cat 6 points in your home as possible for tvs, computers etc and have the sparky connect these back to the point where your nbn termination device will be installed Re: Coral Homes general build thread 3720Mar 14, 2016 6:39 pm Question for anyone that has chosen off white mortar! When it is originally laid before bricks are cleaned etc does it look natural/greyish?? Just trying to determine what standard mortar would look like...We have concerns that our mortar isn't the off white we paid for...but being optimistic that it just looks that way because it isn't cleaned! You should check your detail drawings, it may show downpipe within brick pier. 14 14134 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13838 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4360 |
