Re: J & M's HGWA build 288Jun 05, 2016 1:04 pm Render has been completed, couldn't get a decent pic tho because we have a very full and overflowing skip bin http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e243/pinkjam1/43C8C5E4-4423-4D0B-B72E-DF9D8ADFD55B_zpsn8ygf5xc.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e243/pinkjam1/C6340BBB-2D84-4BD3-B616-F0F8EF6019A1_zps3ckxdwqn.jpg Met with WA liquid limestone to quote aggregate for drive, path, sides of house and grano for the alfresco plus discuss landscaping and quote that, am terrified at what the quote will come back at as I think even he was overwhelmed Tentatively booked in Hoyer painting, going off others they seemed to be reasonable and our quote came back at $3850 excluding theatre and bed 3 as we haven't decided on colours for them. Am fairly sure we are going to book in Tile Dr for flooring, again haven't chased up quotes as they seem decent and have quoted $45 Sqm to lay Now to chase up quotes for alarm and intercom and stonework to the front of house Re: J & M's HGWA build 289Jun 11, 2016 5:26 pm Tapware, shower screens, aircon and doors have been given the final coat of gloss. http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e243/pinkjam1/6BBB1235-E075-4BD0-AA2A-0CE699AA150D_zpso0rvkqzq.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e243/pinkjam1/9492186E-333A-4BF4-A561-96ADD31E0FA8_zps9vykjgk7.jpg Last minute variation with Ford and Doonan to put the aircon on brackets to make it easier and a nicer finish for exposed aggregate down the side http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e243/pinkjam1/3A0343E2-0942-4905-AD8D-C0A7702127FB_zpsy8yruqmg.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e243/pinkjam1/C167261D-E6E2-4788-85FE-89E2E1659C1C_zpsgtjmp20o.jpg Re: J & M's HGWA build 290Jun 11, 2016 8:26 pm Your ensuite looks so swish, you must be so happy with how it turned out. Re: J & M's HGWA build 292Jun 30, 2016 9:26 pm Looking great, do you know when your PCI is yet? Not holding my breath tho! Hoping all goes well because we are getting grano poured to the alfresco on the 20th (keys or no keys) ready for tiling and I'm wanting the tiler to start on the 25th, aggregate site works is booked in for the 29th and painter booked in for the 4th of August Carpets were getting installed on Friday so could get in for a look. Recess tracks will be our big PCI problem as our tile sits fully above the tracks so is not recessed at all even tho tile widths were given at prestart. http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e243/pinkjam1/0547FAA6-02E3-4282-AB37-59DA64DFC98F_zpsw2hpq6xa.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e243/pinkjam1/BF684019-A156-4ED0-8DF4-95CF67ACE4A0_zpsxo43s0sh.jpg Re: J & M's HGWA build - Finally a PCI date!!!!!!!! 296Jul 07, 2016 11:40 pm Looks great. Im so angry at the prestart people. I see so many with the nice basins and faucets coming from the wall and not the vanity, it was started in our contract that we were to have wall faucets and when we got to prestart they told us they dont do the sinks that go with the wall faucets unless i want a hole in the vanity where the tap normally sits. Definitely jealous seeing everyones tapware and vanities they look super sleek and modern Re: J & M's HGWA build - Finally a PCI date!!!!!!!! 297Jul 13, 2016 8:34 pm jasminelee_86 Looks great. Re: J & M's HGWA build - Finally a PCI date!!!!!!!! 300Jul 13, 2016 10:08 pm We had a look at the basins displayed on the southport, and at Prestart we were quoted $1500 each!!! Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17516 thank you! do we need to get this or our builder before we commence new build on the block? 2 10404 Hi, did you get any money from insurance? if you did, does it match what you've already paid the builders? 3 9559 |
