Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 23, 2014 8:35 pm Hi All, 2nd post - today we visited some of the display homes in cranbourne east and should say that I was surprised when I visited "Turnkey homes". What you see is all you get. which means, no frills, no decorations or luxury interiors. You will be amazed to see that the house is just empty with the fixtures provided by the builder. The sales person out there was really accommodating and helpful. I got to hear that they do "Fixed cost" houses. (i.e.) No extra penny once the contract is signed. As I mentioned, it's "what you see is what you get" house which includes driveway, landscaping on front & rear, fencing, split aircon, lights, ceiling fan on all rooms, etc. I was so tempted to pay a token advance but I was cautioned by wifey to get some reviews/ insights from you guys before proceeding further. Sadly I am still waiting for them to start the house build. I am not happy with their service. They do not communicate an share all the required information. How is your build progressing? Wish you all the best. Once you signed the contract, they will find millions excuses to charge you. And have seen their sites unfinished for a long time. 4 17315 As title suggests, looking at using the interlocking Pentablock stacked stone products to replace failing timber retaining… 0 11170 I am building in claymore NSW and this is shown in the building envelope plan. … 0 4994 |
