Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 19, 2014 2:55 pm Hi all, We're at completion stage and the blinds got stolen ((( Burbank said they have been re-ordered, but might have to be installed after handover and we agreed to that (someone told me it's a no no!) The blinds got stolen 2 weeks ago and they said they have re-ordered them straight away and it usually takes 3 weeks. Our handover date is Mon the 1st Dec so we thought they should be installed on time before handover. However we've just had PCI yesterday and the SS didn't give us much confidence and still said they maybe installed after handover. Does anyone have any experience with Burbank with their outstanding work after handover? Are they quite reasonable or it's a no no? I've heard that after handover we become the lowest priority on their list. I just don't want it delayed for too long as xmas is just around the corner Thank you so much in advance Re: Blinds to be installed after handover by Burbank 4Nov 20, 2014 3:38 pm Yeah bad luck me ( Fingers crossed Burbank doesn't muck around too much Thanks guys! Trambay - did you have your handover at Altona as well? Is it easy to find a car park and safe? Cos we're going there with our car full of stuff so once we got the key we can unload the stuff at our new home straight away lol!
