Re: Have you got warranties and manuals? 2Nov 19, 2014 10:53 am You should get all the papers on hand-over. From air-con to carpets etc etc. Termite treatment as well - and maybe a video etc. They often do a walk around once you are in. Re: Have you got warranties and manuals? 3Nov 19, 2014 10:57 am I got warranties and manuals with everything in my house. I have been living here for 4 years and have had to use warranty on a couple of items and they have been so easy. eg. I needed to replace both bathroom mixer taps, I rang reece (supplier of taps) and all I had to do was give them my job number (Building company job number) and they knew exactly what it all was and had it out to me within days. Re: Have you got warranties and manuals? 5Nov 19, 2014 10:59 am sorry.... I got a manual and warranty for the rain water pump but I'm pretty sure I didn't get anything for the actual tank. That would be covered under the whole house warranty though, surely. Re: Have you got warranties and manuals? 6Nov 19, 2014 12:36 pm Saint Mike You should get all the papers on hand-over. But - they would all have a similar practice. We got so many papers we didn't know what to do - took ages to go through them - read and file and put them in a sensible order ... It is worth keeping them in a special spot - you will need some of them at some stage ... We set up a filing system for all the house stuff - especially the paints, fence etc - ie colours. It is amazing how you forget the names of things. Re: Have you got warranties and manuals? 9Nov 19, 2014 1:52 pm Saint Mike 13Jack Saint Mike You should get all the papers on hand-over.
