Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 18, 2014 8:01 am Hi Everyone, I have a quick question. We strated to build early September and we have just finished our "fixing" stage. Our building supervisor keeps saying we will have a walk through when electrical is done then it was after it's locked up, then there was another excuse to say after its been painted and finally now he is saying to come and check if our tiles are ok. But he will not be there as he will be in the office. So i thought you were entitled to a walk through with your building supervisor? We have never had one and I'm getting a little frustrated with him changing his mind. Anyone else experienced this before? Re: Porter Davis Walk Throughs 2Nov 26, 2014 11:01 am I haven't had an official walkthrough with the ss either. Have you been able to go into your house at all? I go in when ever their are other tradies there. After fixing though, the times the tradies are there are getting sparse so it's becoming a bit more challenging. Gives you a good chance to look at everyone with out someone trying to rush you through it. I've walked through with the SS once just before lockup. We're going to catch up with him again next week to go over a few issues. Wow that is terrible about the insurance!
