The grass is looking great albeit surviving the heat wave viewtopic.php?t=78985 Re: Adelaide Designer Homes 2015 Pics! 943Mar 17, 2016 7:16 am Thanks LP i can't wait to be finished....like yours. Franky they are very basic havenslab 400x200 pavers in charcoal from Adbri, have to say they have a really nice texture and colour (they look like bluestone) and the pavers are good quality. We went smaller pavers in the driveway because of the slope and to help with the interlocking. Re: Adelaide Designer Homes 2015 Pics! 944Mar 17, 2016 8:50 am Paving and landscaping is looking awesome blue! Good choice with the pavers. Our neighbour has 400x400 in her drive and because her builder doesn't pave the crossover, they're cracking already. She's only been in for a week! That and they didn't even sand them in!! I'd be mad if that was me. Haha. We're going the same as what You've chosen for durability and longevity. We were actively discouraged from anything bigger than 200x100 on our driveway because of the reactive soil but also the slope - especially because of pivoting car wheels. Anyway time will tell!! Thanks CS! Your motoring along blue, that paving looks sensational and the lawn has taken so well. I did have a chuckle at your letter box you could get some delightful parcels in that . I hope your loving your new place and your making it your own. Can't wait to see some inside pics your eye for detail is fab Re: Adelaide Designer Homes 2015 Pics! 951Mar 25, 2016 10:35 pm Thanks TC! - I saw Mr TC's concrete work how lucky that he can do it. Tribe.....it feels so slow, but OH says I need to stop comparing to people who have had a full landscaping package done......and I said I wasn't I was comparing to you Inside pics will come - just bought a massive plain green rug...pantone colour 2013. Re: Adelaide Designer Homes 2015 Pics! 952Mar 27, 2016 8:08 pm First coat of render colour, it looked a bit blue Going to wait till morning to see if need to change the colour! http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/ww288/ambipup05/image1_4.jpg The front fence is going to be knotwood - aluminium. Hope to see it in the next month..... Re: Adelaide Designer Homes 2015 Pics! 953Mar 27, 2016 9:28 pm That looks fantastic!!! I was looking at Knotwood aluminium today blue. I want our side gates in it. Are you getting from Urllich or will you have made/installed for you? Was also looking at Ekowood from Bunnings. I'd prefer to buy a ready made gate and get Mr to just install (enuff on his plate). But only ready mades I could find are real timber. Curious. Any ideas? Re: Adelaide Designer Homes 2015 Pics! 954Mar 28, 2016 11:22 am Well blue it's morning and it doesn't look blue to me at all? What do you think? PS. Doggie photos please! Re: Adelaide Designer Homes 2015 Pics! 955Mar 28, 2016 1:31 pm TC xx Just took a photo in the sun it looks okay. Will do second coat later. Will post about knot wood and will post doggies photos and house....she looks so much better now. She looked so sad and malnourished when we got her and shaved harshly....long story. Her name is Jumbly. Re: Adelaide Designer Homes 2015 Pics! 956Mar 28, 2016 7:32 pm Hi TC and anyone looking Here is the colour in bright light- I didn't realised overcast light made things blue. OH said it was common knowledge.... http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/ww288/ambipup05/render.jpg Also we got quotes for a knotwood front fence in their system which all clicks together - looks okay but I preferred a post and rail fence with the slats attached like wood (but with knotwood it is all concealed still ) - so we are probably going post and rail with the decking pieces uses as vertical slats. We looked at ekowood also but it is really quite heavy and it poses issues for gate sag - our gates are both 1.6 and 1.9 wide. We are going through a fencing company.....final quote has not come back yet. If you want prefab the fortress pre made gate frame with knotwood slats would work quite well. Here is the doggy - " Jumbly" http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/ww288/ambipup05/dog%202.jpg And her favourite place in the reading room watching the world pass by. http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/ww288/ambipup05/dog%201.jpg Re: Adelaide Designer Homes 2015 Pics! 958Mar 28, 2016 9:59 pm Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww what a beautiful bubba. Hello Jumbly! Totally gorgeous. Wonderful for you to have bought her home to your beautiful family and new home! Thanks for the info on the Knotwood. Today I also found Stratco do an 'Ezi-slat' option which looks interesting. Will have a look with mister. Thanks again Render looks brilliant. Very, very nice. Soooo happy for you! Re: Adelaide Designer Homes 2015 Pics! 959Mar 28, 2016 10:05 pm Thanks LP and TC! She is a lovely pup, we suspect has not had much fun to date but has the loveliest quiet nature and we love her. I have seen the stratco stuff on fences I don't think they look as wood like.... but might go have a peep also.
