Was kicking myself a bit when I saw it that I was not bolder in choices in the wet area but there were budget constraints ..... Re: Adelaide Designer Homes 2015 Whoomp there it is.. 725Nov 17, 2015 3:32 pm Garage door has gone on woodland grey looks okay. Also plasterer fixing all the holes he was a character, I said sorry they (electricians) made so many holes.... He laughed and he said he wants lots of mistakes to patch coz that's his job ...painter back tomorrow. Garage door looks mean Love it! Nearly there ... pant pant. EDIT: Oooh, wonder what's in that skip ! Re: 728Nov 17, 2015 8:47 pm TomCat WOW! Garage door looks mean Love it! Nearly there ... pant pant. EDIT: Oooh, wonder what's in that skip ! Well fellow skip scab (you with the paint) - all our mirrors apparently were replaced smashed and pulled out - I could tell because I picked up all the broken glass around the skip but balanced on top was one whole mirror - hubby working late - no one else to call, got it out carefully but was too heavy to walk around the corner to where we live. Considered asking one of the neighbours to keep it but they probably already think I am loco and also if it broke wouldn't want someone to feel bad /superstitious. So got our teeny tiny car - and managed to get it in (without breaking it) doors wouldn't close so tied them closed on one side and drove the 400m v slowly. Got it safe into our garage and actually thought out loud - I saved you mirror so does that mean 7 years good luck I need to get some of the silicon off the back but there were no scratches - 1.3x1.5m mirror. Felt quite happy to save something useful. Re: Adelaide Designer Homes 2015 Nearly there. 729Nov 17, 2015 8:49 pm Tribe7 Looky looky and your lovely door blue. . Hope your happy with it, looks great. Beautiful day there too. Oh your inching closer by the day I'm so excited for you. I was taken aback at first because I am sure I chose a smooth door....getting used to it......still not sure. Trying to think a smooth door will show all imperfections/dirt and may not age as well and the woodgrain steel may look better when it ages a bit. Can't wait for this selection doubt to finish Re: Adelaide Designer Homes 2015 Nearly there. 730Nov 17, 2015 8:56 pm I actually like you wood grain door and woodland grey is a great colour . It looks great, hopefully it will grow on you viewtopic.php?t=78985 Re: Adelaide Designer Homes 2015 Nearly there. 731Nov 17, 2015 9:15 pm I'm supposed to be doing my grocery list and meal planning but am bored of it, after reading your mirror wrangling antics I'm in fits. That's totally something I would do. Good on you for fishing it out, hey it might be perfect in your walk in robe???? I just went and had a look at ours (actually got to have a proper look as the beacon man came and replaced our portico downlight today, it blew on Halloween) ours is wood grain too and it hides the dirt well, two kids have ran into it and it's holding up great. I really like the texture and the colour of yours looks really good. Re: Adelaide Designer Homes 2015 Nearly there. 732Nov 17, 2015 9:18 pm Good job blue. Mighty impressed with that effort!!! teehee Re: Adelaide Designer Homes 2015 Nearly there. 733Nov 17, 2015 9:20 pm Tribe7 I'm supposed to be doing my grocery list and meal planning but am bored of it, after reading your mirror wrangling antics I'm in fits. I did think first if it was wise and actually now wonder how I got it out but its done and that's exactly where its planned for, the WIR ! Seemed silly for it to be smashed. I think the grain effect on the door is probably most practical. Re: Adelaide Designer Homes 2015 Nearly there. 734Nov 17, 2015 9:27 pm Mr t went on a scab mission around the bins and got all the beading for Lucy's built in study nook , we got gravel and all kinds of stuff, building is a wasteful business, it's nice to be able to reuse something's. Hehehhe great minds with the wir. Agree defiantly practical, I wish we went a dark colour instead of surf must but never mind...... Always next time Re: Adelaide Designer Homes 2015 Nearly there. 735Nov 17, 2015 9:33 pm You've said next time a few times tribe. I sense another build in 5-7 years (was using a crystal ball and all.....) Re: Adelaide Designer Homes 2015 Nearly there. 737Nov 17, 2015 9:36 pm I like the woodland grey but then I would seeing that's what we chose too. Thanks for the description of the mirror save, I'm such a visual thinker and I could picture you bluesteel, the struggle, the exasperation and then the light bulb moment of a small car and rope and winning!
