How much was it? ——— Sent from Tapatalk My build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76446 Yeah, was an upgrade over fly screens. Cost us $1500 total for all windows and doors (except 2 awnings and main door). Main door is getting crimsafe later. Re: Building Newport 20 with Coral Homes in Ormeau Ridge Est 124Apr 16, 2015 10:06 am Neither They are vinyl Re: Building Newport 20 with Coral Homes in Ormeau Ridge Est 125Apr 16, 2015 10:13 am Mellywil How did I miss these pics and the news that you're having handover TODAY?!?!?! I am happy with the build over all, there are some minor stuff which still needs to be fixed (identified during the practical inspection). And noticed few problems after the inspection as well (chip on driveway, crack on architraves in one location). As long as they don't forget me after getting the cheque, I'll be happy Re: Building Newport 20 with Coral Homes in Ormeau Ridge Est 126Apr 16, 2015 3:57 pm Handover all done and dusted? We're more worried about snakes being so close to the bush! I have the shade cloth dug in 6 inches to the ground and pavers dug in on top of that against the fence. Yet he agreed to move to a nice big block with plenty of bush around haha although fencing with shade cloth dug into the ground on our block would end up very expensive lol viewtopic.php?t=76386 Re: Building Newport 20 with Coral Homes in Ormeau Ridge Est 136Apr 17, 2015 9:18 am Ah interesting, will have to think about it Jen (& Dave) Plantation Bronte, Ormeau Ridge, Gold Coast QLD 12/03/2015 - Commencement... 26/08/2015 - Handover! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76446 Re: Building Newport 20 with Coral Homes in Ormeau Ridge Est 137Apr 17, 2015 9:43 am Shanniidc shadowarrior This should help you with that as well. You can't be 100% free, and walk around with a golf club for small ones. Try chicken mesh, they are cheaper than shade cloth Re: Building Newport 20 with Coral Homes in Ormeau Ridge Est 138Apr 17, 2015 9:45 am Cool I do remember my hubby saying something about putting mesh in the ground. Our neighbour has said in 7 years he has only seen 3 pythons so that's a pretty good number considering the bush. I've seen more when we lived next to the beach for a year haha viewtopic.php?t=76386 Re: Building Newport 20 with Coral Homes in Ormeau Ridge Est 139Apr 17, 2015 9:50 am Three pythons are three too many am comfortable with Re: Building Newport 20 with Coral Homes in Ormeau Ridge Est 140Apr 17, 2015 9:52 am We have toads where we are now all the time so I'm kind of used to them. Will have to see if there's enough for us to worry about. I'm with you on the snakes though SW, I can't stand them. I grew up in NZ where nothing wants to kill you so living in Australia all the dangerous animals freak me out! Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 14318 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4377 |
