claths house updates and a cute addition to the family

hello its been nearly two months since we moved in, while everything is great interior ..we haven't even started landscaping, though i bought two lovely burgandy glazed pots from Berwick Pottery in which i planted my Tulips and daffodils till i can plant them in the garden.
I think i got them for a bargain as they had a few defects so instead of paying $90 each i got them for $60 each. they where heavy as i was getting them out of the car i dropped one and cracked it in a few places theres not much damage so was able to use the pot.

Second bargain was two 50% off vouchers for rugs from carpet call, which i was given when ordering the carpet and flooring back in late march. I was able to save my self over $1000 on shaggy rug for my bedroom and a large good quality handmade wool nylon rug, the look on the sales guys face was priceless when he saw the vouchers he nearly keeled over lucky i used them when i did as i would not have been able to if i had have left it another two weeks.

Finally we have a new furry addition to the family a lovely cute 2 month old female Maltese cross poodle.. by the name of Portia don't worry the rugs have been put away for the time being so as there are no accidents have to make sure all doors are shut to the carpeted areas.

We had to get the carpet layer back after a month to tidy up the edges of the carpet in the doorways and around the walls,

So far so good the house is still standing and no major problems that we can see,

The rugs are great the puppy is sooo cute!!! :wink:
