We have a Clipspec meeting coming up and want to be prepared on what to expect out of it.
Our plan includes light fittings (single battons to each room) and one fan fitting, and a set number of power points. The building contract also allows $2500 towards electrical/clipsal allowance.
Is this $2500 extra we have, which we can spend for power points etc or are the light fittings etc is what that $2500 is made up of?
I want the basic layout done with the power and plug points mapped out, and want the main wiring designed. I will be later using an electrician to install LED lighting using those main power lines.

On a secondary note, those of you who only have LED downlights in their house, does it provide enough illumination? Or do you have a primary source for illumination and the LED downlights are for highlighting/atmosphere etc?
Thanks.
