Building our first dream home in NSW Re: Coral Homes Modified Daydream 30 - Colours 466Jun 24, 2015 6:54 pm Forgot to mention that the integrated rangehood doesn't fit! Went back & checked emails sent last year with appliance details and double checked model number. All good. So looks like cabinetry is wrong! Waiting to hear from SS about fixing it. Getting closer to the finish line! Re: Coral Homes Modified Daydream 30 - Colours 471Jun 24, 2015 8:50 pm Did u supply the ovens or coral did? Are they the Bosch pyrolytic ones? Re: Coral Homes Modified Daydream 30 - Colours 472Jun 24, 2015 9:01 pm tj9630 Did u supply the ovens or coral did? Are they the Bosch pyrolytic ones? We supplied the ovens. One is pyro, the other standard. Re: Coral Homes Modified Daydream 30 - Colours 473Jun 24, 2015 9:26 pm Yea we recently bought the same pyrolytic one it has 451 as a model number... Its smart to save some $$ on a standard one for general baking that's clean! Re: Coral Homes Modified Daydream 30 - Colours 474Jun 25, 2015 3:07 pm Tiler popped back for us today to start the feature walls in the entry. Had to wait for the flooring to go down first. No communication from SS (surprise surprise) to tiler to let him know he was good to go. Carpenters were back today to finish their stuff & we needed the first row of tiles down before the skirt goes on. No skirt yet in this picture. Tiler hopes it will be finished tomorrow. Just a sneak peek...... Mellywil I was going through your thread from the beginning last night (yep, too much time on my hands) and was wondering what was going on with this. Are they big tiles? I can't see the join at all to see how big they are. Where are you having them? Only these places? Inching ever so closer... They are 420mm x 420mm size tiles made from coconut shells. Just having them on those 2 walls - entry & dining. Re: Coral Homes Modified Daydream 30 - Colours 479Jun 25, 2015 9:39 pm Wow that is going to look amazing. All the light finishes and your floor are perfect! Re: Coral Homes Modified Daydream 30 - Colours 480Jun 25, 2015 10:06 pm I cannot believe just how amazing your home looks so beautiful! I hope mine looks half as good! Does the acoustic underlay help much with the sound of the laminate? I might have to look at getting them to add it in... Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13771 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4338 Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 74701 |
