PCI has been rescheduled for Monday & SS reckons we can pretty much have handover as soon as we want & the final cheque is ready. We are now at 24 weeks since start date. Finnsmamma You should be so happy. Every single choice is perfect. I love how light and bright and big it all looks. Thanks Finnsmamma! DG85 Daydream build house looks fab! What colour is ur kitchen glass splash back and ur kitchen wall paint? Thanks DG85! The wall colour is lexicon 1/4. The glass splash back gasnt been installed yet but it is a metallic grey/silver. Can't remember the name of the colour but will post pics when it is in. MrBee House looks absolutely fantastic I love all of your selections everything works well and looks awesome congratulations going to be a great house to live in Thanks Mr Bee! Hope your PCI went well today. Cristyandpercy1 Good luck today!! Are your fly screens and outdoor kitchen done? Disappointed it didn't go ahead today but we won't be rushed when it's not finished just because SS is under pressure. We really want to be in before the bubs come home but we want it finished & finished properly. Hope your PCI went well today. Flyscreens aren't in yet. No outdoor kitchen as we opted to get a credit for that. Mellywil It looks amazing Daydream - congrats! Good luck today Thanks Mellywill! Re: Coral Homes Modified Daydream 30 - Colours 509Jun 30, 2015 2:47 pm I say good on you for holding firm! You have way too much left that needs doing and they owe you even if it's not much money per day, it's SOMETHING after all the drama you've had! Our PCI went well. mostly paint touch ups and our skirting boards are pretty ******* where our floor boards are - they've just been tacked back onto the wall and are loose and *******. Building our first dream home in NSW Re: Coral Homes Modified Daydream 30 - Colours 510Jun 30, 2015 2:48 pm Hmmm it didn't like the words t.a.c.k.y or d.o.d.g.y !! Didn't consider those words offensive!! Building our first dream home in NSW Re: Coral Homes Modified Daydream 30 - Colours 511Jun 30, 2015 3:09 pm Hey who did you go with blinds through again? Pleased to hear it went well today. Sounds like they didn't finish the skirting boards properly. When is your handover? Cristyandpercy1 Hmmm it didn't like the words t.a.c.k.y or d.o.d.g.y !! Didn't consider those words offensive!! That's so funny! Had no idea it did that! Cristyandpercy1 Hey who did you go with blinds through again? Your quote was half the price of ours Really? Wow! What sort of blinds are you having? We have gone through Universal blinds. Re: Coral Homes Modified Daydream 30 - Colours 513Jun 30, 2015 5:25 pm I am about to order with blinds online... might have to check out universal as.well first Re: Coral Homes Modified Daydream 30 - Colours 514Jul 01, 2015 8:14 am Sorry to hear that it's been delayed a bit, I think you made the right choice though so many people get to the end and take the house to early go with their heart and not their head and end up with defects that never get fixed (we have done this before) Another week or two in the grand scheme is smithing and you will thank yourselves later Not sure what access you have but we spent some time by ourselves doing our own PCI using checklists and making a list. That way when we did the PCI with builder we already had items to question as well as having time to have a better look at everything else. That way when we did the PCI with builder we already had items to question as well as having time to have a better look at everything else. Thanks Mr Bee. Disappointed but we've done the right thing. We're lucky as we have a key to get in. Until the arrival if bubs we had been going through regularly (pretty much everyday) & highlighting to the SS things we weren't happy with as the build progressed. My husband had been through with a real estate/valuer friend of ours sticking extra dots everywhere the night before and again in the morning with his stepdad. The SS says all these issues should be sorted by Monday together with the big outstanding items.
