We had our soil tests done before the land was registered so the whole thing could keep moving and as luck would have it everything just seemed to click into place as we went along. Council approvals came back about 2 weeks after the land was ready and from there we were good to go. Very lucky with that phase of it but we did take a while to sort out the final design of the house so that helped.
