Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Suggest a project home builder in Brisbane 2Oct 21, 2014 8:59 pm We used Planbuild homes. Began the process in November last year, started construction in May (after huge delays with our bank) and moved in on the 8th August. They were great, very few dramas and everything seems to be great quality. We had an electrician install some fans for us on the weekend and he commented on how well built the house was from what he could see when he was working up in the roof. We also found their inclusions to be fantastic value. Good luck with your journey! :-D Modified Miami 31- Brighton Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=91265&f=31&p=1789112#p1789112 Re: Suggest a project home builder in Brisbane 5Oct 21, 2014 9:44 pm Howdy, We built with Plantation and had no dramas either... started build last week of June and moved in first week of October.. great finishes and good communication the whole way as well Build Thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=68375 Re: Suggest a project home builder in Brisbane 6Oct 21, 2014 10:01 pm Jase_Dave Howdy, We built with Plantation and had no dramas either. Thanks. Want more details Sent you PM. How much over the base price did you go? How much was the site cost in addition to the basic cost? Did you do much upgrades? Where were all the extras and why? Sorry for asking so many questions. It's all very complicated lol. Re: Suggest a project home builder in Brisbane 8Oct 22, 2014 8:18 am We are currently building with Plantation after spending literally months looking at every single builder - it was so hard to decide and such a big decision. We are so happy with Plantation, their customer service has been excellent the whole way along and we have no doubts about choosing them. Re: Suggest a project home builder in Brisbane 9Oct 22, 2014 8:49 am Thanks guys for the response so far. Seems like plantation is winning so far and will be my first stop. They have very few designs that fit my block though. I need more narrow block specialist. Any more opinions? Re: Suggest a project home builder in Brisbane 12Oct 22, 2014 1:32 pm We were looking at doing a KDR on a 10m frontage block. Didn't end up going ahead with it, but we found Stylemaster, Fresh Homes and Clarendon had a few narrow block options. Stylemaster have the Milan on display at North Lakes and we quite liked the layout. Re: Suggest a project home builder in Brisbane 13Oct 22, 2014 1:47 pm We actually originally signed with Clarendon before changing to Plantation. We only changed due to the Plantation design suiting the width of our block better. But we did find the sales people at the Mango Hill Clarendon display to be very professional and helpful, and they have quite a big range of homes that would suit a narrow block. Re: Suggest a project home builder in Brisbane 14Oct 22, 2014 2:49 pm We have a 10m frontage block and are planning to build with Valeco. I had been looking for ages. I went to every display around Brisbane but Valeco were the only ones to give me the design I wanted, designed exactly as required. They were also 20k for site costs instead of 50 with 4 of the other builders. What type of block is it? Flat or sloped? Re: Suggest a project home builder in Brisbane 15Oct 22, 2014 2:59 pm I know that Coral homes have 'narrow lot' designs.
